Research Reports from the Great Gobi B Strictly Protected Area

Research Publications about the Takhi and the Dzungarian Gobi B

The volume of research taking place in the Great Gobi B Strictly Protected Area in Mongolia is considerable. Multiple investigations of behaviour, requirements, and habitat of the Takhis, the Khulan (wild asses) and other wildlife, in particular the wild Bactrian camels, are being undertaken at a research station which was established in 1992 in Takhin Tal at the border of the Great Gobi B Strictly Protected Area.
